Reiki attunements
A Reiki attunement, also referred to as initiation, is an energetic process that opens up your energy field so that you can be a channel for the Reiki healing energy.
A Reiki Master gives the attunement. It is not something that you can do yourself.
There are different levels of attunement for each level/degree of Reiki. Each level brings more understanding of the Reiki symbols, The 5 Reiki principles (also known as the Universal Truths), developing your own practice and how to best support others when they are receiving the Reiki energy.
The process of an attunement is a dedicated Ritual and is unique for each person. Time is given to explaining the philosophy, teaching the symbols and practice. The Reiki Master will imprint the Sacred Symbols into your aura and chakras by using breathwork and touching your hands (with palms open) so that your hands become more sensitive to the energy,
Learning Reiki is a very personal decision. For most people, it is the beginning of a gentle, but powerful process of improving health, well-being, lifestyle, and self-awareness. A Reiki Master often plays the role of a mentor in the integration of the principles, and will support, guide, practice and deepen the knowledge of their students.
Described below are the four levels/degrees of Reiki including the teacher’s certification class: First Degree, Second Degree, Advanced and Masters.

First Degree
First Degree is a practitioner's initiation into Reiki and is open to everyone. The focus in this level is opening the Chakras, finding the connection to The Universal Life Force Energy, the history and origins of Reiki, how to use Reiki for yourself, and how to share with others. It is encouraged that Reiki 1 be used for the student to practice self-healing and working through their own obstacles.
This is a 5-hour class with a 15-20 minute break

Second Degree
Second Degree gives the student the ability to develop their skills to practice on others. The student will learn the first three sacred symbols of Reiki, how to use them, and how to send Distance Healing energy to whoever and wherever it is needed in the world. The focus is on opening the Heart Chakra and developing the students skills to practice on others.
This is a 5-hour class with a 15-20 minute break
Prerequisite: the completion and certification of the Level One Attunement.

Fee: $265
Master/level three
Master/Level Three represents a deep commitment to the Reiki practice. It is designed to bring Level One and Level Two Reiki practitioners to the next degree. The Reiki Master symbol is given in this level, which increases the students capacity to Channel The Universal Life Force Energy. This level helps the practitioner to connect to their own inner truth and involves recognizing that each person is the Master of their own destiny and is responsible for their own life.
This is a 5-hour class with a 15-20 minute break

Advanced/Teacher’s certification
In this level, The Reiki Master takes on the responsibility of teaching Reiki to others. Completing this level allows you to Attune (initiate) others so they can use the Reiki energy in their own journey of self-discovery and healing. If you are ready to build your own Reiki practice, or if you’re thinking of teaching this powerful healing energy to new students, then this class is your next step.
This is a 4-hour class with a 15 minute break
Prerequisite: The completion and certification of Level One, Two and Three attunements.
