About the event

Mandalas have traditionally been used as a meditation tool in many cultures. They are a means to focus the attention of practitioners as a spiritual guidance tool. Mandalas help establish a sacred space. They act as an aid to meditation and trance induction.

Creating a mandala is a way of moving out of left-brain/analytical thinking and into a more right-brain/intuitive/creative mode. The repetition of the designs moves you into a meditative state that helps you to feel more relaxed, peaceful, and connected to Source. Later, by focusing on the same Mandala, you can use it as a tool for meditation and your spiritual practice.

We will begin with a short guided meditation to help you relax and tune into Spirit. After that, you will have time to tune into the artistic and creative side everyone has.

Fee: $25. Materials included.
